In our project, we aim to build a low cost room automation system which works on the concept of DTMF (Dual Tone Multiple Frequency) System. Hence through this we are able to design a fully automated room in which the function of the several electronic/electric components such as Fan, lights, TV, etc , all becomes automatic instead of manual switch pressing inside the room, just on the click of the user outside the room. Means if we are outside our house and forget to switch off the lights then there is no need to worry, we just have to simply call from our cellphone to a phone connected in our automated room (connected in auto answering mode) and the simply have to press the keys of our cellphone to switch on/off different electronic/electrical components installed in our room. So what's better than this.all of your gadgets are controlled in a very simple manner, just one click close to your phone.
A vending machine is a machine that dispenses items such as snacks, beverages, alcohol, cigarettes, lottery tickets, cologne, consumer products, and even gold and gems to customers automatically, after the customer inserts currency or credit into the machine
The microcontroller based voting machines made the process of voting and counting the votes lot easier than before. Previously the votes were marked in paper which are then stored safely in a box and inside a well secure room for days. The process of separating the votes and counting them manually may take a lot of days. But after finding the electronic voting machine the votes can be marked without using papers, which makes the voting process eco-friendly. Moreover it makes the counting process faster and the results can be announced in a comparatively very short period of time. For making the EVM, we have used a ATmega16 microcontroller. The votes casted are stored in the internal EEPROM of the AVR . The reason for doing so is that even if the power supply is switched off, the votes are retained. For result, we have used a interrupt which gives the result according to the current status as soon as the interrupt key is pressed.
